New Wellington branch manager

The Law Society welcomes Catherine Harris into the role of Wellington Branch manager.

She takes over the reins from Colleen Singleton who headed off for a year abroad in December 2011.

Previously chief executive officer for a small charity in Wellington, she has experience in multiple roles including administration, fund-raising, publicity, marketing and liaison.

Other experience includes the Citizens Advice Bureau Auckland City, and teaching business communication at private education provider AIS St Helens.

She has also undertaken Volunteer Service Abroad assignments in Africa. In 2005 she was in northern Tanzania where she was assisting an executive to run a chamber of commerce. 

She is looking forward to getting to know members of the Law Society and working in a larger organisation.
