In 2018, The Law Society commissioned an industry-wide survey with the view to better understand the legal workplace environment. The survey explored the safety of lawyers and those working in the legal environment.

The 2023 follow-up survey in conjunction with leading insights company, Kantar, will revisit the topics of harassment covered in the 2018 survey but with additional scope to enquire into discriminatory behaviours. 

Even if you have not experienced any of the behaviours set out in the survey, the Law Society still wants to hear from you so that a comparable and accurate picture may be gained of the profession as a whole. 

The scope has been further extended to include non lawyers who are also invited to share their experiences through the survey.

The survey will remain open until 5 May.
