The Canterbury Westland Family Law Committee would like to invite members of the Family Law Bar who undertake Oranga Tamariki work in any capacity to attend this seminar series.
The five lunchtime sessions will be delivered as follows:
Session 1 - "Tomorrow's Practice and Procedure" (Monday 22 June)
A panel involving members of the Christchurch Family Court Judiciary, discussing how we as stakeholders can collectively participate in proceedings under the Oranga Tamariki Act 1989.
Session 2 & 3 - Oranga Tamariki Act - The Basics (11 & 25 August)
A two part series facilitated by Sarah Stewart and Hannah Reuben
Session 4 - Section 132 Reports (September)
The process from start to finish led by Sarah Le Page, a s132 report writer supervisor
Session 5 - Exiting from Oranga Tamariki Care (October)

All seminars will be held during lunchtimes at either the Law Society or Christchurch Court.
Each session will earn 1 hour of CPD.
Pricing:
0-2 years PQE - complimentary
Members - $20 per session $80 for the series
Non Members - $30 per session $120 for the series
