A Trust Account Administrator has the day-to-day responsibility of administering the trust account of a law firm or solicitor practising on their own account, and must maintain up-to-date, reliable trust account records which comply with professional duties and trust accounting regulations. This practical workshop introduces the skills and knowledge needed and will build confidence for staff undertaking this work. Topics include legal obligations, regulatory requirements, recording transactions, processing transactions, reconciling the trust account, file closure, end of month review, and issues and common faults.
